Did they really! Wow weeeeee!!!!!….I must confess I was essentially speculating as to what I thought was happening in the said scene previously.
Now that you’ve revealed what really did transpire originally, my sense of awe; appreciation > adoration for Linda & Joan has risen exponentially.
If ever any actresses were befitting the mantle of Goddesses, then it is surely these 2 incredible ladies!
@hicm1of12 Actually Linda did the entire sequence herself. Joan most of the sequence with the exception of falling into the lillypond due to its shallow depth. I too wondered if Joan’s double was in that sequence you described as it was spliced..the give away is Joan’s hat floating in 2 different spots in a matter of seconds. As I was told cameras had to be moved as there was almost no clear space at that end of the pool even with platforms. The entire fight was very carefully choregraphed.
