@highgirlstar2000 Not just that but also because of how we thought why she threatened Dorothy. We know why because those ruby slippers that belonged to her sister were very very special to her. They helped Nessarose to strengthen her abilities and also to walk. They had really strong magicla powers.She knew that if Dorothy had them the magic will be lost.

@MissKarenWalker1 You’re right, WW was always caught off-guard by Aresia, but on the other hand she seems a little intimidated by the powerful blonde amazon.
Considering that Wonder Woman was able to kick Huntress, Black Canary and Hawkgirl’s asses at once, it’s hard for me to believe that Aresia would actually be a match for her. And, besides, WW was clearly avoiding to hurt Aresia.

The Aresia storyline was a bunch of bullshit! The Amazons got their powers from the goddess Hera (the wife of Zues). So how in the fuck did she become “magically endowed”? The Greek Gods would’ve never given Amazionian powers to some human bitch who just happened to wash up on their shores..
Aresia was a fail for the writers… Glad they killed her off!
